These frogs are hand made in Northern Thailand from Monkey wood ( Mai- Somcha) While this item has been on the market here in Thailand for over 20 years Its still a very strong seller. The Frogs are being sold and used world wide as both a percussion instrument and as a novelty item. The frogs are available in the following sizes 1.5'', 2'', 3'', 4'', 5', 6'', 8'' 10'' and 12''. At times the larger size frog blanks can be a bit hard for us to come by.
Normally we produce our Frogs in 5 or 6 different colors. The Brown and the Reddish-brown # 1 and 2 for the Thai market. While the Natural wood color is our top seller in the USA. We also do a black as well as the hand painted styles in a solid Green, Rainbow and the Multi color style ( SF-CL). If you are looking for a different color let us know.
